When the history of this period is written at some future date, an important question would be why India's elite - in terms of wealth, income, social status and education - cheered on the undermining of India's democratic norms and its social fabric through hate and lies.
I've never had anything hit me this hard. I was brought up to be nurturing and feminine, efficient at home, be earth mother, while in reality spend my 30s having to be fiercely feminist, independent financially, expected to bring that organisation and efficiency to the workplace
It's exhausting and I'm certain I'm not the only one of my generation with this problem.

I cannot imagine a life without my child now, but if we were to start over, not marry. Choose to be single and childfree. Apply for foreign universities and settle outside India. Save enough for travel.
With me it was different I was nri raised to do this and yet by default childcare and now elderly care came to me alone, I drown every day

This assumes that BJP does appeasement of Muslims for their votes.
Maybe they already know they wouldn’t get Muslim votes. Maybe for BJP it’s not a vote mechanics but a higher selfless pursuit, an article of faith, an ideology beyond electoral calculation?
Not many political parties are conscious of the relevance of their actions determining the structure of the future society apart from just capturing power. Savitri Era Party invokes the Vedic evolutionary vision of Sri Aurobindo and fruition of his #FiveDreams of August 14, 1947.
Democracy entails people electing their ruler but the Constitution of India doesn't have provision for this leading to all sorts of corruption and negation of the people's will many a time. Sovereignty to the States with the Presidential system can rectify this serious infirmity.
Under Mohan Bhagwat, RSS has revised many of its earlier stands to look modern. BJP under Modi too has tried its best to stick to the Constitutional path. But their detractors chose not to recognise these aspects. Such visceral hatred is not fair. Dynasty supporters should think.
It would be fair if it can be ascertained what harm was done to the country or the people by which film. Simply speaking against the ideology without assessing its utility in its context lacks critical spirit. Taking help from different countries in different spheres was common.

That's quite common even in the corporate culture of today. In politics, it's more evident. But taking exception to the Russian collaboration with Bollywood seems to be unjust. As children, we used to read Soviet Land in Odia which were distributed almost free. Influence was wide.
Now that Modi winning 2024 looks slim, two action points for being etched in history:
1) Sovereignty to the States and
2) Inclusion of Sri Aurobindo's books in University syllabus.

Excellently put. In fact, for any govt, the needy deserve extra-care without any discrimination on other considerations; the first claim on resources. The ethical dimension that you point out derives from the governmental obligation.

Reflecting on life situations midway, at least, without covering a major part, can be warped for the results are a little bit away. Life is nothing but earning memories which get erased partially on a continuous basis.
It's an open secret that people have rode to victory on the strength of Minority votes. When their votes get divided, others capture power. This is the demographic reality of India and those seeking to overlook it are deluded. Even the Bahujan of Mayawati is crippled without them.

Odia is the best for being nurtured as a common language in the present circumstances. Apart from Sanskrit, it's the only classical language beyond the South with an unmatched elegant script. ତୁଷାରନାଥ ମହାପାତ୍ର
